Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Support the Depot Team Leader in supervising and motivating a team of drivers to meet performance targets and objectives.
  • Operational Management: Collaborate with driver agencies to ensure cover for all areas of daily runs, including timesheet checks, in the absence of the Depot Driver Team Leader.
  • Safety and Compliance: Conduct all activities in a manner that promotes the Health and Safety of yourself and all colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience as a team leader or supervisor in a transportation or logistics environment.
  • Transportation Knowledge: Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with drivers, colleagues, and external agencies.
