About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Child and Family Worker to join our team at 5 Star Recruitment. As a key member of our Family Safeguarding Team, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable children and families in our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside adult-focused practitioners to inform assessments and plans, focusing on specialist areas such as substance misuse, domestic abuse, and mental health.
- Support children and families experiencing challenges related to complex neglect, sexual harm, physical harm, and parental learning difficulties.
- Undertake direct work with children and young people to hear their voice and understand their experiences.
- Work with parents and the wider family network to identify strengths, tackle problems, and change interactions and behaviors.
- Collaborate with multi-agency partners to support families in achieving and sustaining positive change.
Requirements
- Qualified social worker registered with Social Work England.
- Experience working with children and families in social work, within a Local Authority team.
- Experience of work within family courts is essential.
- Possession of a full driving license and access to a vehicle for travel within the county.

Rate Information
- Regular Pay: £28.19 per hour.
- Saturdays: £36.65 per hour.
- Sundays: £56.38 per hour.
- Bank Holidays: £42.29 per hour.
- Call Out (Weekday): £42.29 per hour.
