Job Title: Adult Support Worker

Prospero Health & Social Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to adults with various needs, including Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, and Aged Care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support and care to adults in a range of settings, including residential homes, community outreach, and extra care services.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Support adults with their goals and aspirations, promoting independence and empowerment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a support work or care environment.
  • Up-to-date mandatory training in areas such as Food Hygiene, Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Infection Prevention, and Equality and Diversity.
  • Safeguarding training is essential; a free course is available with Prospero Health and Social Care.
  • Health and Social Care Level 2 or 3 (desirable but not essential).
  • Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service.
  • Two professional care-related references.
