Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker

Service Care Solutions is recruiting a Mental Health Support Worker to work with one of our Forensic private hospitals in Sussex. The role involves working with a team of professionals to provide support to service users with mental health conditions.

Job Summary:

The successful applicant will have demonstrable knowledge and experience working within secure Mental Health and/or challenging behaviours. They will also have practical PMVA Training and Basic Life Support dated within 12 months, as well as Mandatory Training dates within 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to service users with mental health conditions
  • Work as part of a team to deliver care and support to service users
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service users, families, and other professionals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience working within secure Mental Health and/or challenging behaviours
  • Practical PMVA Training and Basic Life Support dated within 12 months
  • Mandatory Training dates within 12 months
  • Fantastic communication skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and commit to working hours mentioned above
