Trauma & Orthopaedic Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Trauma & Orthopaedic Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a once-in-a-lifetime project to design a new hospital from scratch and be at the forefront of national efforts to transform healthcare.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will work as an independent practitioner supporting the management of patients with Orthopaedic needs, facilitate and support the effective and efficient management of the trauma caseload, and act as a clinical expert and professional resource for the multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver outstanding care for patients in East London and beyond.
- Lead on service development projects within the service and lead on staff development and internal/external teaching programmes.
- Develop innovative nursing practice within the speciality of trauma orthopaedics.
The ideal candidate will have a broad range of skills and experiences, excellent leadership and management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. They will also have a working knowledge of MS Word and Excel, and be able to teach and share knowledge.
