About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist to join our Paediatric team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of occupational therapy services for children and young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of occupational therapy services for children and young people with complex needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care pathways and effective service delivery
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to occupational therapy staff
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery and collaboration
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Graduate Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Significant experience in paediatric occupational therapy, including experience in leading teams and developing services
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of current occupational therapy practices and research
