Job Title: Part Time Hourly Paid Lecturer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Lecturer to join our team at Solihull College & University Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching on our Law and Criminology courses, specifically the BTEC National Applied Law and WJEC Level 3 Criminology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to students on our Law and Criminology courses.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and materials to meet the needs of students.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the overall development of the department.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to teach in a Further Education setting.
  • Recent proven experience in delivering Law and Criminology courses.
  • Excellent administrative skills and a flexible approach to support student learning.
  • Occupational competence in Law and Criminology.
  • Industry knowledge and experience of teaching in a Further Education setting.
  • Recent teaching experience and a teaching qualification (desirable).
