Financial Operations Role Overview

Talent Works is seeking a diligent and personable account assistant to focus on billings in the telecommunications sector. This role is crucial as you will be the primary source of billing, working closely with a colleague.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collate billing information from multiple manual sources.
  • Perform billing calculations and formatting.
  • Support improvement programs aimed at automating and modernizing billing processes.
  • Utilize Excel for data analysis, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth billing operations.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years general accounting experience or experience in a similar role.
  • Practical accounting skills with exposure to billing.
  • Proficiency in Excel, particularly pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite is a plus, but not essential.
  • AAT qualification or studying is a bonus, but not essential.
