Financial Operations Role Overview
Talent Works is seeking a diligent and personable account assistant to focus on billings in the telecommunications sector. This role is crucial as you will be the primary source of billing, working closely with a colleague.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collate billing information from multiple manual sources.
- Perform billing calculations and formatting.
- Support improvement programs aimed at automating and modernizing billing processes.
- Utilize Excel for data analysis, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth billing operations.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years general accounting experience or experience in a similar role.
- Practical accounting skills with exposure to billing.
- Proficiency in Excel, particularly pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite is a plus, but not essential.
- AAT qualification or studying is a bonus, but not essential.

- Ability to recognize and manage income from different sources.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
