Are you passionate about explosive engineering?
As an Ammunition Technician with the Royal Logistic Corps, you will be responsible for the safe handling and disposal of ammunition. This role requires a high level of technical skill and knowledge of explosives.
You will work closely with other military personnel to ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that any incidents are dealt with promptly.
Qualifications and TrainingTo become an Ammunition Technician, you will need to complete a 29-week training course at the Defence Academy in Shrivenham and the Defence EOD Munitions and Search Training Regiment in Kineton. During this time, you will learn the skills necessary to handle and dispose of ammunition safely.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this role is £25,200 per annum, rising to £28,000 as you progress through your career. You will also receive a range of benefits, including a pension scheme and access to on-site fitness facilities.
Earn your Category B and C+E Driving Licences, plus specialist vehicle driving and bomb disposal qualifications.
