Job Title: Financial Planning Coordinator

The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 2 years' experience within the financial services industry and a strong understanding of investments, pensions, and family wealth planning. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Financial Advisers, ensuring that all client data and information remain confidential and compliant with FCA rules and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collect, collate, and record client policy information and critical data in accordance with the principles of KYC.
  2. Obtain policy information, quotes, illustrations, and product details.
  3. Place investment trades, fund switches, and conduct peer reviews on fund switches instructed by colleagues.
  4. Organise financial planning annual reviews with clients on behalf of the Financial Adviser.
  5. Prepare documentation for initial client meetings and annual financial reviews, including product literature, illustrations, provider forms, and client agreements.
  6. Be proficient in sending critical client data by DocuSign and other electronic methods.
  7. Create, schedule, and manage follow-up tasks relating to client meetings, ad-hoc requests, and new business submissions on iO.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience within the financial services industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of investments, pensions, and family wealth planning.
  • Excellent IT skills and proficiency on Microsoft Office packages, with an intermediate knowledge of Excel.
  • Understanding of the needs of the business's Financial Advisers as well as FCA rules and requirements.

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum
