Jellycat Toy Co. Ltd. is a leading luxury soft toy brand, and we're seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Specialist to join our Merchandising team.

About the Role

We're looking for an individual who can collate ongoing analysis on sales and inventory to maximise opportunities and provide communication to the commercial teams to futureproof the needs of a growing business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse sales data and trends, providing regular reporting as required across key metrics
  • Create regular trade packs, adding commentary and presenting findings to the team
  • Collate and communicate new campaign sell-through data to the Sales teams
  • Maintain accurate product lifecycle data in range lists and communicate changes to internal stakeholders
  • Review and update allocation quantities based on performance and store profile
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of merchandise plans
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Merchandising department
  • Assist in the production of range plans, providing detailed analysis
  • Review style performance on a weekly basis and make stock and trading recommendations
  • Manage merchandising administration systems and procedures to ensure product availability and delivery
  • Provide information and analysis to assess levels of slow-selling stock
  • Develop a strong understanding of product performance across various channels and understand how to impact performance
  • Support the Sales team with information on product availability
  • Share information on Out of Stocks and Overstocks across all territories and channels at product level
Requirements
  • A strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • The ability to organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
  • Be able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong communication skills
  • An analytical/numerical mind
  • A strong attention to detail
  • The ability to understand financial measurements and how to impact them
  • Good communication and teamworking skills, and enjoy speaking to new people
  • A basic understanding of merchandising, with a genuine interest in forging a career within merchandising

£35,000 - £45,000 per annum
