Job Summary
We're looking for an experienced Climate Adaptation Consultant to join our Sustainability Advisory team. This role will involve working with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver sustainable solutions to clients. You'll be encouraged to challenge yourself, learn new things, and use your skills to make an impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake climate resilience assessments as part of our impact assessment process.
- Lead and facilitate workshops to support the design of climate-resilient projects.
- Work with clients to develop adaptation strategies and action plans.
- Provide clear presentations and reports meeting varying client requirements.
- Assist or lead on business development activities, including client presentations and bid preparation.
- Strong numerical and quantitative skills.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline, with experience specializing in climate adaptation, preferably in a consultancy environment.
- Experience working on climate risk and adaptation projects.
- Previous experience analyzing climate projections would be advantageous.
- Experience interacting with clients and involvement in business development, including the development of business cases, defining scopes, planning, and delivery of adaptation projects.
- Strong understanding and application of climate risk assessment methodologies.
- Desired: Chartership or working towards Chartership.
