Care Support Worker Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at Royal Devon University Healthcare Trust. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on individuals' lives by providing essential support and care in mental health settings.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months experience as a Mental Health Care Assistant and possess relevant qualifications such as the Care Certificate or a recognized diploma in healthcare support services.
This position allows for flexible working arrangements, enabling you to balance professional responsibilities with personal commitments while promoting a healthy work-life balance.
About the Role
- Monitor patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations, and weight.
- Assist in the delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse.
- Ensure that the patient is the prime focus when making decisions about their care and wellbeing.
- Assist patients with compassion when undertaking normal activities of daily living whilst ensuring that privacy, dignity, and human rights are respected.
