About this role:

CITB is seeking an experienced Construction Assessment Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality vocational assessments for supervisory, management, and senior management qualifications.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage a cohort of learners through the assessment process from allocation to achievement.
  • Carry out assessments in the workplace to ensure that learners confidently demonstrate the technical and specialist knowledge, skills, and behaviours required of the qualification being undertaken.
  • Deliver assessments in line with Assessment and Verification policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to maintaining the integrity of supervisory, management, and senior management qualifications.
  • Contribute to the quality assurance process by ensuring compliance with all centre procedures and awarding organisation requirements.
  • Work with IQA and stakeholders to contribute to sales and marketing strategies.
  • Maintain the health, safety, and welfare of all those involved in the assessment process.
  • Ensure compliance with all organisational policies on safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Chartered Manager (CIOB, RICS, ICE, RIBA, CABE) or Master's Degree in a management or construction technical discipline or L7 NVQ Diploma in Construction Senior Management.
  • Industry experience commensurate with the qualification levels delivered (Level 7).
  • Assessor award
  • Excellent knowledge of current industry practices.
  • Decision-making skills commensurate with the requirement for assessing higher-level competency qualifications.

About the company:

Salary and benefits:

The salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, CITB offers a range of benefits, including car allowance, mobile working allowance, and excellent career progression opportunities.
