About the Role:

Charles Hunter Associates is seeking a qualified Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) Social Worker to join their Emergency Duty team in Greater Manchester. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires significant Mental Health experience and Senior Social Worker/Management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the Emergency Duty team to provide mental health support to adults in need of assistance
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective service delivery
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve mental health outcomes for service users
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions

Requirements:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/Diploma) and registration with Social Work England
  • Experience working within Mental Health and as an Approved Mental Health Professional
  • Excellent working knowledge and understanding of current legislation and frameworks relevant to Adults' Social Care and Mental Health
