Principal Flood Risk Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Flood Risk Consultant to join our established team of Engineers based in Kent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies for Residential, Commercial, and Environmental Planning Projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1, 2, and 3
  • Develop Surface Water Management Plans
  • Design and implement Drainage Strategies and detailed Residential Drainage and Sewerage Designs using AutoCAD and Microdrainage
  • Lead project management and team mentoring
  • Collaborate with clients to discuss project progress

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, or Environmental Management
  • Experience working for a UK-based Consultancy completing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microdrainage
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
