Hygiene Team Leader Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a skilled Hygiene Team Leader to join our team within the manufacturing industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the hygiene services on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that all regimes and implementations are properly documented.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop hygiene staff to ensure they are proactive and carry out their job roles in a safe and effective manner.
  • Control hygiene team members at all times to ensure they wear PPE.
  • Identify and report any issues that arise, and ensure that the correct forms are completed.
  • Carry out daily/weekly/monthly/ad hoc cleaning tasks, and participate in daily GMP audits.
  • Ensure that hygiene operatives are following the correct guidelines when cleaning machines.
  • Organize and control stock issues, and generate stock replenishment orders.
Requirements:
  • Previous hygiene experience within a food manufacturing environment.
  • Supervising a team.
  • Level 2 Food Safety.
  • Basic knowledge of COSHH.
  • Basic BRC understanding.
  • Numerate and literate, with the ability to follow instructions.
