Job Opportunity at Smestow Academy

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Special Educational Needs Support Team as a Teaching Assistant.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to assisting pupils with learning difficulties/disabilities and providing a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students from Year 7 to Year 11 in a secondary school setting
  • Work as part of the Special Educational Needs Support Team to promote inclusion and achievement
Requirements:
  • Adequate level of literacy and numeracy (GCSE grade C or Equivalent in English & Maths)
  • Knowledge of children development, education and school curriculum
Salary:

£22,000 - £25,000 per annum
