Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oil Products Trading Operator to join our team at Richard James Recruitment Specialists Ltd. The successful candidate will have existing work-based commercial operations experience within the Oil Products trading sector.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, driven individual with a strong appetite for success and a willingness to improve existing processes. They will have excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, and be able to clearly present thoughts and ideas.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £50,000-£70,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities of the role include coordinating operations from trade inception to completion, executing blend plans provided by the trading team, and liaising with 3rd party storage terminal operators. The successful candidate will also be responsible for obtaining clean acceptance of vessels, issuing voyage orders to shipping/counterparties, and monitoring progress of vessels.

Key qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's Degree, existing oil products operations experience, and strong analytical/problem solving skills. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge and experience in IT, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
