About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our expanding Corporate Services IT department. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting mission-critical work completed by over 1000 end users across hundreds of servers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain internal IT environments, platforms, and services at a senior level.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in systems engineering, cloud computing, and cyber security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective, reliable, and enduring IT platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in systems engineering at a technical lead level, with expertise in vendor technologies such as Microsoft, Amazon (AWS), VMWare, and RedHat.
  • Strong understanding of Defence or National Security IT standards, with a background in these domains preferred.
  • Experience with Solution or Enterprise Architecture methods, and awareness of cloud platforms, identity and directory services, mobile device management, and cyber security.

Clearances

Due to the nature of this role, we require you to be eligible to achieve DV clearance. As a result, you should be a British Citizen and have resided in the UK for the last 10 years.
