Job Title: Senior Communications Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Systems Engineer to join our team at McLaren Applied. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex communications systems for motorsports applications.

About the Role

You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Your expertise in communications systems will be essential in ensuring the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement complex communications systems for motorsports applications
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members
  • Ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest communications technologies and trends

Requirements

  • Experience working with motorsport communication systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other highly quantitative field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong background in testing & validation of distributed electronic and software systems
  • LAN/WAN networking and IT Network Operations experience
  • Experience of working with Linux servers (preferably Debian derived)
  • Some experience with programming skills, including working with version control tools
