Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Theatrical Quality Control Specialist to join our Digital Cinema team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the quality control of Digital Cinema Packages in all formats, including 2D, 3D, HFR, HDR, immersive audio, subtitles, and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality control of Digital Cinema Packages
  • Creation and completion of quality control reports
  • Active participation in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of any quality control rejections
  • Client-attended theatrical quality control sessions
  • Quality control of ProRes and downstream formats

Requirements:

  • Technical skills and basic knowledge of industry-standard tools and technologies in quality control and digital media
  • Basic knowledge of image, audio, and subtitle digital file formats
  • Familiarity and working knowledge of Digital Cinema theatrical equipment is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of aspect ratios, video and audio codecs, color space, compression, and other characteristics associated with media is a plus
  • Experience in DCP and IMF mastering processes is a plus
  • Problem solver with creative and innovative approach with ability to think out of the box
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize, manage orders, and work well under pressure to achieve deadlines while producing high-quality work
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and be a good team player
  • Ability and willingness to learn new methods, procedures, or techniques and take on new tasks
  • Passionate about quality, customer experience, and customer service excellence
