Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Control Panel Builder to join our dynamic team. As part of our ongoing growth, we need someone who can read and interpret schematics to assemble control panels, mount and wire electrical components according to design specifications, and test panels for proper operation and troubleshoot any issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
  • Assemble control panels according to design specifications
  • Mount and wire electrical components
  • Test panels for proper operation and troubleshoot any issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Perform stringent quality checks to ensure the functionality of all electrical panels
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and communicate effectively with colleagues
  • Occasionally attend customer sites to carry out termination of control panels and assist in the commissioning of completed mobile machinery

Requirements:

  • Experience in control panel assembly, wiring, and testing
  • Strong knowledge of electrical components and systems
  • The ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with generator and power control systems (a plus)
  • Relevant certification or qualification in electrical engineering or a related field
