Our work includes Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs), Developments of National Significance (DNS), and other major planning applications.

We are committed to fostering sustainable development and protecting the environment for future generations. As a Principal Consultant in our expanding team, you will play a crucial role in shaping a sustainable future for the South West and Wales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead EIA Projects: Act as the EIA Lead for major projects in the renewable energy sector.
  • Feasibility Studies & Documentation: Write detailed feasibility studies, environmental reviews, and EIA documentation.
  • Proposal & Tender Production: Lead the creation of compelling proposals and tenders.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with clients and stakeholders, providing expert advice on environmental matters.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring repeat business.
  • Mentoring & Development: Mentor junior staff, fostering their growth and development.

Person Specification

  • A BSc degree in a relevant discipline, preferably complemented by an MSc in Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Management, or a related field.
  • Full membership of IEMA and/or Chartered Environmentalist status (or are working towards it).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the EIA process, including current methods, legislation, techniques, and guidance.
  • Strong project management skills, including financial management, program management, and quality control.
