Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all students
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support to ensure academic growth
  • Implement and uphold school policies and procedures, fostering a positive and safe learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a strong sense of community within the phase and promote cross-curricular learning opportunities

  • Lead and participate in regular professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with educational practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Proven experience as a Reception Teacher, ideally with experience in a leadership or phase lead role
  • Excellent knowledge of the primary education curriculum and current teaching methods
  • Strong classroom management skills and ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and willingness to learn and implement new teaching strategies
  • High level of organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
