About the Job

This position involves supporting the nursery team in creating a stimulating atmosphere that encourages children to explore and learn. As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will assist in planning and leading activities that spark curiosity and creativity in young children. Your responsibilities will also include collaborating with the Nursery Teacher and other staff members to ensure a cohesive learning environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in planning and leading activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in young children
  • Supporting children's social, emotional, and physical growth through structured and free-play sessions
  • Collaborating closely with the Nursery Teacher and other staff members to ensure a cohesive learning environment
Requirements

We are looking for an individual who possesses a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent. You should have a genuine interest in supporting the development of young children, excellent communication skills, and a cooperative approach to working within a dynamic nursery setting. Additionally, you should be able to observe and record each child's development accurately, providing insightful feedback to the teaching team.
