Financial Controls Manager

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our team as a Financial Controls Manager. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our financial operations are robust, compliant, and aligned with best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and enhance financial control frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.
- Drive process improvements to optimise efficiency, accuracy, and control in financial reporting.
- Provide expert guidance on financial control matters, supporting senior management in decision-making.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure the integrity of financial data and controls.
Requirements:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrate strong skills in data analytics, process mapping, project management, auditing and internal control programmes
- Hold a business-improvement mindset
- Experience in coaching and educating stakeholders
- IT general controls experience preferred
- A strong understanding of financial statements and identifying risk
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative and conflict resolution skills
- Can operate within a fast-paced, changeable environment
