About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Catering Manager to join our team at Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our catering services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate catering operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the Catering Manager to achieve business objectives and goals.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and policies.
  • Manage and train a team of catering staff to deliver high-quality service.
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a catering or hospitality management role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
