We are seeking a skilled Neurodiversity Assessment Specialist to join our team at Faircare. As a key member of our assessment team, you will play a crucial role in helping clients understand their unique cognitive profiles and providing guidance to support their educational, personal, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments tailored to identify conditions such as ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, dyslexia, and other learning challenges.
  • Administer and interpret standardised tests, including tools specifically for ADHD and autism spectrum disorder, to identify specific learning difficulties and create a well-rounded profile for each client.
  • Prepare detailed, clear, and comprehensive reports that include findings, interpretations, and individualised recommendations, and communicate assessment results to clients, families, and relevant professionals.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Therapy Services and Educational Support, to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach and contribute to developing client-centred plans.
  • Provide post-assessment consultations to guide clients in interpreting the results and assist them in implementing recommended strategies, and offer guidance on referrals for additional resources or support services when appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one year of experience conducting neurodiversity assessments in a clinical, educational, or healthcare environment, with direct experience with ADHD and autism assessments being essential.
  • Certification in administering neurodiversity assessment tools is highly desirable.
  • Strong ability to communicate findings sensitively and effectively to clients and their families, offering reassurance and clear guidance on next steps.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing detailed reports that include diagnostic results, interpretations, and client-centred recommendations.

Salary and Benefits

Our salary for this position is £55,000 per annum, which reflects the importance of this role within our organisation.
