We are seeking a highly skilled Principal GNSS Scientist to join our team at Focal Point Positioning. As a key member of our GNSS team, you will play a crucial role in the research and development of our Supercorrelation technology. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that is transforming the capabilities of billions of devices used every day around the world.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Join the development team and actively contribute to the software lifecycle
* Take technical ownership of new research and development ideas
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of Supercorrelation software and testing tools
* Generate clear technical results and communicate to internal and external stakeholders
* Propose, lead and participate in R&D initiatives aimed at enhancing our existing products and inspiring the next of our ground-breaking technologies
* Contribute to team planning
* Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers within the company

**Your Experience:**

* Essential: Relevant academic or industrial experience, in-depth knowledge of GNSS measurement engine signal processing, strong analysis skills in Matlab or similar
* Desirable: In-depth knowledge of the full GNSS signal-processing chain, source control, synthetic aperture processing, GNSS simulators, agile development, product development experience, Kalman filters, multi-sensor fusion techniques, RTK and/or PPP and/or multi-constellation positioning, multipath mitigation methods
