Investment Analyst

Insight Investment is seeking a skilled Investment Analyst to join its Secured Finance team in London. This role will focus on analyzing and recommending structured finance investments across the capital structure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model and evaluate investment opportunities in bespoke transactions
  • Present findings to assist senior team members in making investment decisions
  • Analyze investments daily and follow markets
  • Assist senior team members with ad hoc tasks as required
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, including Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Investment Committee

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in Financial Markets
  • Strong investment analysis experience, with a background in structured finance preferred
  • Experience in Excel Modelling / VBA
  • Experience incorporating ESG factors into investment process
  • Familiar with Bloomberg / Intex
  • Flexible and comfortable with changing priorities
  • Execution and detail oriented
  • Able to work well independently and take direction as required
  • Highly quantitative
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Inquisitive and comfortable asking questions
