About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Transactions Specialist to join our team in Birmingham City Centre. As an Accounts Payable professional, you will be responsible for processing approximately 100 invoices monthly, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in Accounts Payable with a deep understanding of manual and system-driven processes. Proficiency in SUN ERP and experience with payment systems like Barclays banking are essential. You should be able to hit the ground running, manage priorities, and adapt quickly to new systems and processes.

This is a part-time role with flexible working patterns, allowing you to choose from options such as 3 full days per week or 5 days a week. You will work from home with regular in-office days to build relationships with approvers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process approximately 100 invoices monthly, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage the central inbox for incoming invoices and queries.
  • Ensure all invoices are reviewed and approved by stakeholders before processing.
  • Use SUN ERP to manage accounts payable tasks.
  • Set up and execute payment runs via banking systems.
