We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic team at The Disabilities Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, you will provide strategic leadership and professional expertise to support individuals with acquired brain injuries.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and develop individualized communication plans to address the complex needs of our service users.
- Provide expert training and guidance to staff and service users' social networks to enhance communication skills and independence.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective rehabilitation strategies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service and organizational initiatives to improve communication outcomes.
- Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Specialist knowledge of Speech and Language Therapy models and interventions in acquired brain injury.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in complex case management, including dysphagia management.
- A competitive salary of £43,742 - £50,056 DOE (pro rata).
