Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Oxford, UK. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in implementing vehicle security plans and ensuring the launch of cyber secure vehicles across our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To define and implement various cyber security work products throughout the vehicle development lifecycle
  • To develop best practice procedures associated with secure vehicle development
  • To maintain the CSMS (Cyber Security Management System)
  • To create formal documents such as the vehicle TARA and penetration/software update testing requirements
  • To provide guidance and assistance to engineering teams on the delivery of vehicle cyber security work products
  • To escalate any major vehicle security risks to the Risk Committee Board for review and action

Requirements:

  • BEng degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in electrical/electronics design
  • Previous experience in a cyber security development role working in accordance with a relevant international standard
  • Knowledge and experience of working to ISO 21434 requirements for vehicle development
  • Experience of developing vehicle TARAs
  • Experience of preparing penetration and software update test plans
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong technical reporting skills

Benefits: The estimated salary for this role is £45,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include pension and private health insurance.
