Data Research Coordinator

The Delaware River Waterfront Corporation is seeking a Director of Impact Analysis and Research to lead the development and implementation of a new strategic initiative focused on expanding the organization's capacity for data analysis and evaluation.
This role will oversee the planning, design, and implementation of a new strategy and architecture for data collection, storage, organization, and analysis for the corporation. The successful candidate will have a strong background in research, data analysis, and database use and development, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategy for evaluating departmental and organization-wide impact, including establishing shared goals, regular check-in points for analysis, and internal and external feedback loops.
- Source and implement technological resources for data collection, storage, and analysis, including developing training, policies, and procedures for effective staff and user engagement.
- Manage and maintain a catalogue of physical assets to aid in life cycle analysis, budgeting, and scheduling for regular maintenance and capital replacement.
- Establish and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, project partners, and other individuals and groups with whom the corporation regularly communicates and does business.
- Develop and implement a strategy for communicating the impact of the corporation's work to external audiences through various channels, including annual reports, web and social media content, and white papers.
- Assist with fundraising and grant-writing, providing relevant metrics and data to support the corporation's initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher and at least five years of related experience and/or training.
- Relevant professional experience in research, data analysis, and database use and development.
- Strong leadership skills, with proven experience leading initiatives and collaborating with a diverse cross-section of team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with overlapping schedules and deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
