About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Program Manager to join our team at Character Lab. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Character Lab Research Network's data management and coordinating with external and internal partners to develop efficient systems for collecting and disseminating research data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate data management and ensure smooth data collection and dissemination
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external and internal partners
  • Prepare and manage communications regarding research projects
  • Manage Character Lab's open science initiatives
  • Ensure project timelines are met and data management is running smoothly
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, statistics, economics, or a related social sciences field (master's degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of work experience
  • Prior experience working in education or in an education-related organization
  • Experience in social science research and data management
  • Excellent project- and time-management skills
  • A high level of thoroughness and attention to detail
  • Fierce work ethic and sense of purpose
  • Highly effective interpersonal communication, collaboration, and writing skills
