Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to lead our statutory reporting efforts, including the annual external audit and production of statutory financial statements. This role is responsible for overseeing cashflow reporting, balance sheet control, and VAT compliance, as well as providing technical accounting advice and delivering accurate management accounts information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the production of an accurate, complete, and compliant annual report, drafting the statutory financial statements and completing the external audit.
  • Produce key information for the management accounts pack, liaising with stakeholders to achieve this.
  • Lead the team and be responsible for the reconciliation, control, and reporting elements of the balance sheet, including fixed assets, stock, investments, and restricted funds.
  • Act as Secretary to the Investment Advisory Group.
  • Control the treasury management to maximize the financial return on working capital and investments.
  • Work across finance and Shared Service Centre to simplify and continually improve financial processes.
  • Deputise for the Financial Controller in their absence.
