Sewell Wallis is partnering with a well-known business in Sheffield to recruit a Financial Reporting Manager. The successful candidate will oversee the production of an accurate, complete, and compliant annual report, drafting statutory financial statements, and completing the external audit.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the timetable and production of the annual report
- Key point of contact for reconciliation, control, and reporting elements of the balance sheet
- Cashflow reporting
- Liaise with stakeholders to produce management accounts
- Manage and develop a small team
- Take control of treasury management to maximise financial return
- Work across the SSC to improve financial processes and procedures
- Deputise for the Financial Controller
- Fully qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Strong technical background with experience of producing statutory accounts
- Knowledge of accounting principles under UK GAAP
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Confident communicator
- Ability to lead and develop a team
- Hybrid working - 2/3 days in the office
- 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, rising to 30 days over 5 years
