Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader

Gregory Distribution is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for leading a team of operatives and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of operatives in the warehouse, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse, including the loading and unloading of vehicles, completion of checks for goods and equipment, and preparation of orders.
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of the warehouse team, including the operation of counterbalance and reach trucks.
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and tidy warehouse environment.
  • Conduct regular checks on goods, equipment, and MHE to ensure compliance with company standards.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Reach and counterbalance licence is essential.
  • Previous experience of working within a temperature-controlled warehouse environment is ideal.
  • Experience with MHE and good communication and team working skills are also essential.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work within a fast-paced environment are required.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills are necessary.
