Job Title: Dispute Resolution Solicitor

We are seeking an experienced Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join our team at Keoghs, a leading Personal Injury law firm with a strong reputation in our field.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our Complex Injury teams, providing exceptional legal service to clients and dealing with complex and catastrophic claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handling your own case load of large loss RTA claims, mostly valued between £25,000 and £100,000, with some cases up to £150,000.
  • Forensic analysis of quantum evidence, preparing chronologies, identifying anomalies, and other relevant information across various sources and categories of evidence.
  • Using your existing knowledge of complex injury symptomology to identify relevant issues within medical records and instruct medical experts.
  • Critical analysis of sources of liability evidence and identifying any gaps.
  • Drafting concise technical advice on all aspects of claim handling, including reserves, indemnity, liability, quantum, and causation issues.
  • Liaising with parties involved in claims, including the insured, insurer, witnesses, and instructing counsel.
Requirements:
  • Qualified solicitor, CILEX, or proven relevant legal experience.
  • Experience of indemnity and RTA liability and complex medical issues and causation.
  • Experience working in a similar role assisting on large loss and/or catastrophic injury claims.
