About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Event Planner to lead the operations, maintenance, and bookings for our events at Payman Club. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in venue sales and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attract new clients and target new opportunities using sales and marketing initiatives;
  • Lead the direction and management of events to deliver on requirements, deadlines, and client budgets;
  • Maintain a sound knowledge of local competitors and new trends within the events industry;
  • Prepare venue packages and pricing options and negotiate with clients;
  • Conduct venue-viewings with clients;
  • Manage all bookings for events and liaise with clients to determine event requirements;
  • Coach, mentor, and lead the team with clear direction and focus on their roles and responsibilities to achieve departmental ambitions;
  • Ensure all event documents and paperwork are accurate and in place, including event planning-related contract forms, delivery schedules, and hire agreements;
  • Manage all administrative tasks such as insurance, booking schedules, and invoicing;
  • Communicate and enforce all security regulations and protocols;
  • Work with catering services and special event vendors and suppliers to ensure that all contract needs are met;
  • Manage all maintenance and repairs of the venue grounds, property, equipment, and facilities;
  • Ensure that the venue and facilities are clean and organized;
Requirements
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, being organized and efficient;
  • Exceptional communication skills and relationship management skills;
  • Honesty, integrity, strong work ethic, and people skills that enable collaboration;
  • Demonstrated record of measurable success in a fast-paced, high-volume environment;
  • Knowledge and experience of the events and wedding industry, and proven track record in venue sales;
  • Ability to work with clients on all levels, including demanding and complex clients;
  • Flexible with regards to working evenings and weekends;
