Supporting Children in Primary Education

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working closely with a class teacher in a Year 5 group at a mainstream Primary school in Derby. Your role will involve providing individual and small group support to children, fostering positive relationships with both pupils and staff.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in Key Stage 2 (KS2) and hold a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted support to Year 5 pupils, promoting academic achievement and social development.
