Nursery Practitioner

Blom and Blom, a leading private children's day nursery in Horley, seeks an experienced Nursery Practitioner to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to contribute to the provision of a safe, caring, and stimulating educational environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a full and relevant Early Years Childcare qualification, such as NVQ or EYE, and have a minimum of 6 months' experience in a nursery setting. They should also have a sound understanding of the EYFS framework and key worker practices.

Your Role:
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality childcare services that cater to the diverse needs of children.
  • Support and promote equality, diversity, and inclusion throughout all aspects of care and practice.
  • Develop and implement engaging activities that foster children's learning, development, and educational growth.
  • Conduct regular observations, plan, and provide tailored next steps to enhance children's progress and development.
Requirements:
  • A level 2 or 3 Early Years Practitioner/Teaching qualification or a minimum of 12 months' experience in an Early Years nursery setting for unqualified candidates.
  • In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and regulations.
  • Familiarity with planning, observing, and record-keeping procedures.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
