We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Executive to join our SSE Renewables Finance Leadership Team. As a key commercial finance business partner, you will be responsible for leading a team of business partners supporting all Renewables technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Provide commercial finance support to the SSE Renewables business, identifying and mitigating financial risks and opportunities.
- Develop and lead the commercial finance team, ensuring they have the skills and expertise to support the business.
- Be the voice of SSE Renewables Finance across the business unit leadership teams, providing financial insights and recommendations.
- Contribute to investment and commercial decision-making papers, ensuring financial impacts and risks are clearly identified and communicated.
- Ensure the MDs fully understand their division's financial and operational performance, identifying risks and opportunities to achieving budgets and forecasts.
- Play a key part in commercial, investment, and strategic decision-making within the SSE Renewables leadership teams.
- A fully qualified accountant with significant post-qualified experience in a Business Partner/commercial decision-making role.
- Experience of solving business issues of similar scale and complexity, as well as leading a team.
- A strong understanding of key market and external factors that can influence performance and commercial decision-making.
- Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.
