The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Stokebury House, Amersham. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing 24-hour supported living to individuals with mental health needs. Your primary responsibility will be to provide personalized support to service users, enabling them to lead independent and fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance with daily living tasks, such as shopping, managing budgets, and domestic chores
  • Support service users with life skills, including cooking, cleaning, and personal care
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the unique needs of each service user
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of new initiatives
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a care setting or health and social care field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays
