About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Asset Maintenance Specialist to join our team at RAF High Wycombe. As an Asset Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for the operational control of an allocated shift team for the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of the site electrical/mechanical/building services plant & equipment and engineering services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement asset maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
  2. Manage and coordinate the work of the shift team to ensure efficient delivery of work activities and compliance with performance standards.
  3. Investigate and resolve issues with electrical/mechanical/building services systems.
  4. Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of work activities and compliance with performance standards.
  5. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with current legislation and JSP 375, Vol 3.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. NVQ 2/3, ONC/D or equivalent in a building services, engineering, or related discipline.
  2. Work experience in a MOD environment and compliance with Safe Systems of Work (JSP 375, Vol 3).
  3. Experience of working to Critical Engineering Risk Management protocols.
  4. Experience of HV/LV electrical systems, large UPS, and generator systems.
