About the Role

We are seeking a Digital Product Specialist to join our team at Hermès. As a Digital Product Specialist, you will be responsible for animating the online offer and optimising the customer journey.

  • Animate the daily online product offering to deliver the best customer experience.
  • Manage the Push Merchandising and Editorial pages of the site in line with the product strategy and editorial calendar defined by Hermès International and Retail Merchandising.
  • Provide input to the Hermès International Catalog/E-Commerce team and the Metiers to optimise the presentation of products online.
  • Report and follow up daily on bugs/correction requests (product content, navigation).

Responsibilities

Prepare and optimise a strong online product offering

  • Propose assortment, size, and depth of offer in line with objectives, in a collaboration with Retail Merchandising.
  • Prepare briefs for each Metier prior to buying sessions.
  • Monitor quality and stock levels to ensure we have the right products and inventory at the right time, in partnership with Retail Merchandising to guarantee an attractive offer.
  • Manage the day-to-day sales in line with objectives and strategy.
  • Integrate a local and omnichannel strategy for all actions.

Performance Measurement

  • Monitor KPIs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis (sales, traffic, conversion rate, return rate, produce periodic reports and share insights within the team.
  • Be a key contact for the traffic management agency with regular catch ups to refine our digital strategy.
  • Consistently review competitor activities to identify best practices.

Collaboration

  • Gather and structure product feedback with the CRC team to optimise purchasing quality and implement appropriate training plans.
  • Work closely with our local Retail and Retail Merchandising teams.
  • Liaise and collaborate with the Catalogue/E-Commerce Production and digital teams within Hermès International.
  • Communicate on the E-Merchandising actions implemented.

Requirements

  • Ideally 5 years of Digital Merchandising experience within a retail environment.
  • Highly analytical with exceptional organisational, communication and presentation skills.
  • Detailed in their analyses but synthetic and action-focused when sharing with others.
  • IT proficient with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Commercially aware with a passion for our products.
  • Be influential, structured and pedagogic in their approach.
  • Team player, with great interpersonal skills and a humble spirit.
  • Professional with ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
