Job Description

**Job Title:** Engineering Supervisor - Technical Delivery Lead

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead our technical delivery team at our Glasgow site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • **Leadership and Compliance:** Provide leadership and guidance to the engineering team, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and compliance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.
  • **Technical Support:** Provide technical support to the team, including evaluation and review of Safe Systems of Work, collation and submission of reporting systems for accidents and near misses, and oversight of engineering/technical contract activities.
  • **Audit and Review:** Assist in auditing of systems and make yourself available to attend external audits as necessary. Carry out regular reviews of Risk Assessments and Method Statements for activities associated with your role.
  • **Team Management:** Effectively lead and manage the Shift teams, ensuring that all engineering activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
  • **Client Facing:** Report into the Senior Engineering Manager and support them with client-facing responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • **Qualifications:** Electrically qualified (ideally with HV AP) and comfortable working in a corporate, fast-moving, complex environment.
  • **Experience:** Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in engineering and technical delivery.
  • **Skills:** Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
