About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Computational Video Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you'll design and implement state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms that will enable new high-impact Apple products and features. Your extensive GPU programming experience will be crucial in optimizing render and compute pipelines for real-time performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cutting-edge computer vision algorithms for image and video processing.
  • Collaborate closely with multiple teams across Apple to deliver high-quality features and products.
  • Optimize GPU programming for real-time performance and efficiency.
  • Work on cross-functional features and contribute to the development of innovative algorithms.
Requirements
  • Extensive production programming experience in Objective-C/C++.
  • Practical experience in developing algorithms for image or video processing.
  • Fundamental understanding of camera systems and sensors.
  • Experience with concurrent architectures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
