Job Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant / SEND HLTA

Location: Plymouth

Salary: £90 - £100

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant / SEND HLTA to join our team at one of our longest standing relationship schools. The successful candidate will have experience working with students with a range of additional needs, including autism, Asperger's, Moderate Learning Difficulties, challenging behaviour, and trauma from Adverse Childhood Experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Support students with emotional and behavioral challenges
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEND
  • Qualification as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
